I get some interesting comments on my work whiile I'm out here in San Jose`...
Anywho, like I said, I'm out of town so checking up on good ol' dA is gonna be slow. If you're at the San Jose` Fanime con you might bump into me... I'm not dressed in anything interesting, but I'll be carrying around my sketchbook...
Well let's see... -Kristen DIDN'T throttle me going up to or coming back from San Jose`. -Only one costume was worn (Kristen's Onion Knight), and that was for Masquerade, she'll be sure to catch you up on that. -Room was crowded, but no toes stepped upon. -I kept getting cold feet at night and couldn't sleep -I kept stepping into SOMETHING in the hotel room and had to always change socks (water in the bathroom, spilled soup in the room etc.) -Ordering Pizza delivery to room was super-effective -The HolyRollers were few in number this year, so little drama there. Thought they were the center of many a joke among Masque skits. -Hetalia dressers were warned of new regulations involving uniform-costumes... some got confronted by drunks who thought they were Nazis... -Caitlin got epic with a jumping picture ... regretted sore legs the next day (she'll share later I'm sure) -It rained on Saturday afternoon and Amy was caught outside in her Girl-England. She came back to the room looking all cute-wet-kitten-on-the-doorstep. -Masquerade was almost one giant song-and-dance show (NO HALF TIME SHOW WHILE JUDGES DELIBERATE?! ARRRGH!) -Artist Ally proved more fun to browse than Dealer's Hall. -Apples to Apples proved both fun and odd as who ever started the round ended up winning it (three for three, it was weird!) -Ran into road construction halfway down the 5 (you know where it's all flat farmland? Yeah... there), first the right lane was closed, then the left one about 10miles behind that. Major boring. -Maple Bacon Sundae at Denny's (I fear these now).
And... yeah. We got home late last night to a rather happy to see us doggie.

This one involved a Ballet move, using words I can't even hope to pronounce. They complimented me, but it was unexpected.
